The Ethics CORE team respects your privacy. Your e-mail address and other personal information will never be shared with or sold to a third party. You have the right to share or withhold your contact and other personal information from the public and from other Ethics CORE users, and we will not make use of your personal information without your permission. The Ethics CORE team does reserve the right to contact you in order to notify you of changes to Ethics CORE or to request additional information related to your use of the site (e.g., content, feature functionality, etc.). You may opt out of receiving newsletters and other non-essential communications.
Please note because Ethics CORE is a free and constantly developing public resource, the Ethics CORE team does track activity on the site. Members of the Ethics CORE Tech Team and the project’s five Principal Investigators have full access to the raw administrative data about site usage, site content, and site users. Data about site activity are reported annually, in aggregate, to the National Science Foundation. No information that would identify any individual person will be provided to the NSF or third parties without your permission.
The Ethics CORE team works hard to maintain security of the Ethics CORE website and to ensure that materials with restricted access remain private. However, the site software is constantly changing, and glitches do happen. Therefore, all resources on Ethics CORE are potentially available to other Ethics CORE users, and we cannot guarantee complete confidentiality of information posted on this site. Do not post or store information on Ethics CORE that you are professionally or personally obligated to keep confidential.
