Megan Hayes Mahoney

M. Mahoney bioMegan Hayes Mahoney is the Visiting Digital Library Research Librarian for NCPRE.  Her positions  prior joining the Center include working as a  library reference assistant at the University of Illinois Mathematics and Engineering libraries and a managing editor at a small medical publishing company. Megan is involved in creating and editing metadata for resources in Ethics CORE, editing commissioned content, and creating  and editing NCPRE publications. She received her master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois in 2009.

William Mischo

K. Pimple bioWilliam Mischo is Head, Grainger Engineering Library Information Center, Information Systems Research & Development Librarian, and Professor of Library Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He has been a Principal investigator on grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Digital Library Services (IMLS), the Mellon Foundation, and the Library of Congress NDIIPP program. Bill has published some 65 articles and conference papers in the field of library and information science and has presented at more than 75 national and international conferences, including at ALA (American Library Association) Annual, SLA, NSDL Annual, LITA National, and ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education). He served on the NSF NDSL Policy committee from 2003 to 2006. In 2001, Bill received the Homer I. Bernhardt Distinguished Service Award from the ASEE Engineering Libraries Division and he was the recipient of the 2009 Frederick G. Kilgour Award for Research in Library and Information Technology from ALA and OCLC.


Mary Schlembach

M. Schlembach bioMary Schlembach is the Physics Librarian, Assistant Engineering Librarian, and Associate Professor of Library Administration at the Grainger Engineering Library Information Center at the University of Illinois.
